The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is 243 meters in total height. This award winning architecture is design by Kenzo Tange. There are more than 12,000 employees working in this building daily.
Thanks to Kenzo Tange, a world famous construction company, groove couplings are being introduced for the first time in Japanese fire protection market. A small part of this new twin building has used SHURJOINT #7705 couplings as a trial in 1990.

National Health Research Institutes (Taiwan)
The NHRI uses Shurjoint #SS-7X Stainless Couplings 24", #SS-10 24"; and #7771 24", #7110 24", etc. for its HVAC and water supply systems.
National Health Research Institutes is located at Chu-Nan Taiwan about 50 minutes drive from Taipei. The project uses SGS steel pipes and sch. 20s stainless pipes for HVAC and water supply services. System pressure is about 7 kg. The project is not fully complete yet, and about 44 pcs. of SS-7X 24" are already purchased.
